چکیده

Abstract An efforts to increase soybean crop productivity are highly related of nutrients availability and crops management. This research was conducted investigate the plant tolerance index (TI) mycorrhizae role P in a dry land. Factorial randomized block design that consists mycorrhizal factors (0, 5, 10 15 g inoculant per plant) cultivars (Anjasmoro, Dering 1 Grobogan) repeated three times. The results showed inoculation with dose able root length, volume, weights, grain number weight 100 grains. highest grains obtained by_ cultivar. In addition higher weigh resulted by Grobogan anjasmoro cultivar adaptability increased_ on marginal soils Further more gave nonsignificant effect TI (1,97) _by dering cultivars. These confirmes usage −1 inoculants chould be applied for increasing growth

Localized expression of arbuscular mycorrhiza-inducible ammonium transporters in soybean.

The majority of land plants acquire soil nutrients, such as phosphorus and nitrogen, not only through the root surface but also through arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi. Soybean is the most important leguminous crop in the world. We found 16 ammonium transporter genes in the soybean genome, five of which are AM inducible. Among them, promoter-reporter analysis indicated that the most abundantl...

Effect of Arbuscular Mycorrhiza Fungi Inoculation on Growth and Uptake of Mineral Nutrition in Ipomoea aquatica

A green house experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of arbuscular mycorrhiza inoculation on plant growth and uptake of mineral nutrition in Ipomoea aquatica considering the objective of using environmental friendly biofertilizer instead of chemical fertilizer. A common leafy vegetable plant Ipomoea aquatica was grown with mycorrhiza and without mycorrhiza for 42 days. After harvest...

The Arbuscular Mycorrhiza Rhizophagus intraradices Reduces the Negative Effects of Arsenic on Soybean Plants

Arsenic (As) in soils causes several detrimental effects, including death. Arsenic toxicity in soybean plants (Glycine max L.) has been little studied. Arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM) increase the tolerance of host plants to abiotic stress, like As. We investigated the effects of AM fungi on soybean grown in As-contaminated soils. A pot experiment was carried out in a glasshouse, at random with five...

Insight into the role of grafting and arbuscular mycorrhiza on cadmium stress tolerance in tomato

Physiological, biochemical, metabolite changes, and gene expression analysis of greenhouse tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.) were investigated in two grafting combinations (self-grafted 'Ikram' and 'Ikram' grafted onto interspecific hybrid rootstock `Maxifort'), with and without arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM), exposed to 0 and 25 μM Cd. Tomato plants responded to moderate Cadmium (Cd) concentration...

Influence of Arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi (AMF) on drought tolerance and charcoal rot disease of cowpea

The influence of Arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi (AMF) (Glomus deserticola and Gigaspora gigantea) were evaluated on drought tolerance and charcoal rot disease of cowpea genotypes: IT90K-277-2, IT84S-2246-4 and IT06K123-1. IT90K-277-2 and IT84S-2246-4 were sown in 3 kg of sterilized soil for drought experiment with five treatments. Treatment was established thirty days after germination with inocul...
